Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger described Héctor as “something special” following his debut season for the club in 2014/15. During that season Héctor appeared x times for the club at the age of 19 attracting a lot of attention, whilst being dubbed the fastest player in Arsenal’s history since records began.

Thierry Henry described the young right back as being “amazing” and Gary Neville was also full of praises during his analysis of Arsenal’s win at Man City.

Born on 19 March 1995 in Barcelona, Spain, Héctor Bellerín Moruno began his footballing days within the Barcelona Youth System from the early age of 6, where he spent 8 years learning the Barcelona football philosophy in the right-wing position. Héctor showcased his lightening pace and attacking style of play during his time at Barcelona where he was voted ‘Man of the tournament’ at the Canillas international championship (Madrid) which was delivered by Zinedine Zidane in September 2008.

Héctor is very passionate about his home nation and has performed to a high level for the Spanish youth teams. Héctor has represented his country on 22 occasions at all levels from U16 to U21.

At the young age of 16, Héctor was scouted by Arsenal during the summer of 2011, where he went onto become an integral part of the Arsenal youth team who finished 4th in the UEFA Next Gen Champions Cup in 2012/13 season. But it was not until the 2014/15 season where Héctor (19) was handed his first start v away to BVB at the 16th September 2014 in a Champions League Group Stage game.

Héctor scored his first goal for the club on 1st February 2015 in their victory vs. Aston Villa, and then his second v Liverpool in a vital win in their battle for Champions League football.

Héctor’s impressive season didn’t finish there. To cap off an incredible year, Héctor starred in Arsenal’s FA Cup final victory to claim a 2015 FA Cup winners medal for himself.

Héctor has won many fans across the globe with over half a million followers on social media at the early stage of his career, with many wishing him all the deserved success.
